About the Role
This role will focus on all the aspects of turning enquiries and opportunities into sales. As part of the Industrial Aluminium team, you will also be required to support the wider sales and operational team to ensure the smooth running of our Distribution Centres. Counter sales are also a large part of the role where you are responsible for the full end to end process including the pick of the materials. Your other duties will include:
- Building a great rapport with our customers
- Monitoring stock levels and assisting with stock taking
- Providing quotes for our customers and processing orders
- Dealing with customer complaints and identifying corrective actions
- Maximising sales opportunities to existing and potential customers
- Working closely with the Account Managers and assisting to develop customer accounts
- Assisting with trade counter sales and inside sales
- Providing general administration and support in the warehouse when required.
About You
Our ideal candidate will have worked in Industrial related Customer Service, Trade Counter Sales roles. You will be looking to learn our industry and business while continuing a career path into account management. To be successful in this role, you will have:
- High attention to detail
- Be a practical person who thinks outside the square
- Experience in customer service or counter sales roles
- Strong administrative skills
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Enjoys a busy multitasking role with plenty of interaction with sales & operations.
- Good mathematics & unit of measure conversion skills.
- Computer literacy and knowledge of MS Word and Excel
- Have experience in SAP, but is not essential.
