Business East Tāmaki is a not-for-profit business association supporting over 3,300 businesses and 2,100 commercial property owners in one of New Zealand’s largest industrial and commercial hubs. Established in 1994, it operated as a voluntary membership organisation before adopting the Business Improvement District (BID) programme in 2009, funded by a targeted rate through Auckland Council.
Governed by an elected Executive Committee and a dedicated team, Business East Tamaki provides advocacy, resources, and support to strengthen the local business community.
