Machine Operator

We are looking to grow our successful team with a part time Machine Operator in our label production room to cover parental leave for six months.

As our Machine Operator you are responsible for running jobs and inspecting the finished labels on your assigned machine to ensure they are cut and rolled as required. You will also care for your machine and tools by performing regular maintenance and look after your work area by keeping it clean, tidy and free from rubbish. 

You will also be required to pack finished work, stack and wrap pallets in preparation for dispatch to our customers. Some lifting is required and the role is predominantly standing for the duration of the shift.

Ideally you will have worked in a machine operation role before and you will understand the importance of reliability, team work and helping others where required. 

• Have excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to follow instructions
• Be reliable, a good team player and proactive
• Be confident using machinery and understand when to ask for help
• Be able to safely lift up to 15kg 
• Have an understanding of health & safety
