Fire Suppression Sales Representative

DSPA (dry sprinkler powder aerosol) aerosol was originally developed as an alternative to Halon and other conventional extinguishing agents.  DSPA Aerosol is uniquely safe and effective.  The active substances of the DSPA aerosol are solid micro particles that fill the compartment completely and attack the combustion process of a fire at a chemical level.  As a result, the flames are instantly knocked down and the energy removed from the fire.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and technically adept Sales Representative to drive the sales of DSPA fire suppression solutions specifically designed for electrical switchboards. The ideal candidate will possess a strong sales background, coupled with technical knowledge in fire safety systems, to effectively address the unique challenges associated with electrical enclosures.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years in sales, preferably within the fire protection or electrical industries.
• Technical Knowledge: Understanding of fire suppression systems, particularly those applicable to electrical switchboards, and familiarity with relevant safety standards and regulations.
• Education: Completion of relevant fire suppression system training is highly desirable. Courses such as the Open Polytechnic's "Fire Protection Systems - Active" or certifications from the Fire Protection Association of New Zealand (FPANZ) are advantageous.
• Skills: Effective communication, negotiation, and people skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly.
• Tools Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Travel: Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
