Post Budget Breakfast: What Does the New Budget Mean for Your Business?

Non-members who wish to attend this event may do so for a fee of $75 per person - please email admin@businesset.org.nz.

Join us for an exclusive and informative Post Budget Breakfast to gain direct insights into the Government’s fiscal strategy and the economic realities shaping our region. We are delighted to welcome our guest speakers Zoe Wallis and Hon Simeon Brown to decode the Budget and what it means for the business community:

Hon Simeon Brown: Hear firsthand how the Government plans to balance national spending with practical growth. This is your chance to understand how the new policies affect things that matter locally—like regional infrastructure, business costs, and economic stability.

Zoe Wallis, CFA, Investment Strategist, Forsyth Barr: Zoe cuts through the financial jargon and speaks straight to the real-world economic outlook. She’ll break down what the latest Budget means for inflation, customer spending, and the exact opportunities and challenges local businesses should be preparing for in the coming months.

Who should attend?

If you're making decisions that affect a business or a team, this morning is for you. Don't miss this opportunity to get your questions answered and connect with fellow business owners and leaders in our local business community.
