Distribution Centre & Logistics Manager

Kia New Zealand is seeking a dynamic and experienced Distribution Centre & Logistics Manager to lead our high-performing parts warehouse operations in Highbrook, East Tamaki. This is a pivotal role that ensures our dealer network receives timely and efficient support through the seamless management of our supply chain. Our facilities are new with integrated systems in place that now require a proactive leader to join us on our growth journey.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of automotive parts to meet the needs of Kia New Zealand dealers.
• Ensure the warehouse operates at peak performance, maintaining high standards of accuracy, productivity, and safety.
• Manage and develop warehouse staff, fostering a culture of excellence, continuous improvement and teamwork.
• Monitor and optimise supply chain processes, ensuring current systems support productivity and KPI targets.
• Collaborate closely with the National Parts Manager and other department staff to align logistics operations with broader business goals.

What we're looking for:

• Proven experience in warehouse and logistics management, preferably in the automotive or related industry.
• Strong leadership and team management and development skills.
• Excellent understanding of supply chain systems and performance metrics.
• Ability to maintain MPI compliance and regulations as a Transitional Container Facility
• Ability to plan for future capacity requirements
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
