At Spicers we do things differently!  This is a 12-month fixed term role to backfill our current Purchasing Administrator who has been seconded into another role.  One of the many benefits is that she will be available to assist with a handover and ongoing training and support.
You will need to have purchasing, import, inventory and/or supply chain experience.

About You
In order to be successful for this position, we are looking for a motivated individual with strong experience within a procurement, purchasing, import or supply chain function, someone that takes pride in what they do, has great attention to detail, thinks laterally, solves problems and is solution focused. Further requirements will include:

  • Import experience is a non-negotiable
  • You must have worked in a purchasing/procurement team (not a stand-alone role)
  • Honesty and reliability
  • Excellent data entry skills with a great eye for detail
  • Easy-going and get on well with others with the ability to communicate at all levels
  • Able to work independently 
  • The Ability to problem solve efficiently and in a timely manner
  • Maintain a high standard of Health & Safety
