This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned Payroll Officer seeking a part time - flexible role. This is a chance not to be missed.

You will have:

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in payroll processing.
  • Experience with outsourced payroll (Datacom Datapay or EPG) or similar.
  • A sound understanding of NZ payroll legislation and processes.
  • Excellent organisation, time management and multi-tasking skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and comfortable working to deadlines.
  • Proactive and motivated
  • Strong team player.
  • Advanced Microsoft Skills

Key Skills: 

  • Review timesheets and check for anomalies; liaising with managers & HR to resolve any issues. 
  • Review authorisation reports to ensure payroll accuracy and compliance with the Holiday’s Act and Company Policies.
  • Ensure employment related returns and reports, including PAYE and other tax forms, KiwiSaver and ACC are filed.
  • Prepare end to end payroll for employee salaries monthly and weekly wages.
  • Liaise with payroll service 
  • On and off boarding 
  • Prepare payroll reports and variance analysis reports when required. 
  • Responding to staff and manager payroll queries
